Our services (Masjid, Madrassah, Marriage solemnization, Tours & Visits)

The Mosque

Virtues of offering salah in masjid are numerous. It is reported that Ibn Umar radiallahu anhu narrates from Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam on the virtue of offering salaat with jama’at as being 27 times more rewarding than offering it alone.

The Mosque has a capacity to hold an estimated 300 worshippers and has separate prayer facilities for men and women along with their own dedicated ablution areas. Entrance for women’s is located through the left side of the building whilst entrance for men is on the right side of the building.

By the Grace of Allah, the mosque is staffed with a fulltime qualified imam from the Hanafi school of thought, who leads daily five prayers and the Friday congregational prayer wherein sermons are delivered in English.

Allah has also bestowed the mosque with conducting Taraveeh (i.e. night prayers) during the holy month of Ramadan wherein the entire Quran is recited.

The Madrassah

Delivering Islamic education, specifically Quranic education, has been among our top priorities. We provide voluntary Quranic education classes to children of ages from 5 to 13. The Madrassah classes are delivered by a qualified Imam having the relevant expertise and qualifications.

Madrassah classes run from Monday to Friday for two hours each evening normally from 5pm until 7pm.

Currently, about 15 students are benefitting from our Madrassah. You can download a registration form through this link.

Marriage solemnization

Marriage solemnisation is also offered at the mosque which can be organised by contacting the Trustees of the RISC who will be happy to sort out appointments.
